Malissa Vacharakiat D.M.D.

Dr. Vacharakiat is originally from Ft. Worth, Texas but moved to South Florida in 1990. She is married to her husband Jamie, and they have two wonderful children Oliver and Alsatia. She enjoys family, traveling, learning different cultures and foods as well as giving back to her community.

Dr. Vacharakiat began her collegiate journey at University of Florida (GO GATORS!) where she earned her undergraduate degree. Her passion for dentistry led her to Nova Southeastern University where she earned her DMD in 2003. She practiced as a general dentist for 10 years before furthering her education and career as an endodontist. She received her endodontic certificate which requires 3 more years of specialty training from Nova Southeastern University in 2013.

After practicing all aspects of endodontics for the past nine years in the Tampa Bay area, Dr. Vacharakiat was excited to launch her own office in New Port Richey. Dr. Vacharakiat opened her office in 2022 with the latest technology to assure a painless and pleasant experience from start to finish. Dr. Vacharakiat believes in treating all patients with kindness and compassion.

Dr. Vacharakiat is actively involved in the local dental community. She currently attends several dental study groups so she may provide the best care available to her patients. She is an active member of the listed associations:
